A SPEED LIMIT DEVICE (SLD) OR SPEED GOVERNOR means a device whose primary function is to control the speed of the engine in order to limit the vehicle speed to the pre-specified value.
Speed has been identified as key risk factor in road traffic injuries, influencing both the risk of road traffic crashes and the severity of the injures that result from them. Higher speeds lead to greater risk of a crash and a greater probability of serious injury if one occurs. This is because, as speed increases, so does the distance traveled during the drive’s reaction time and the distance needed to stop. At higher speed, driver’s errors are also magnified.
The GRL ENGINEER’S SPEED GOVERNORS is designed keeping in view the Indian road and road user conditions.
Ideal for all climate conditions.
Long operational life.
Zero maintenance required.
Easy to install.

Fuel Base This device is designed to stop over-speeding in the vehicles. This device restricts the speed of the vehicle at a specified programmable set speed. Speed is controlled by adjusting the fuel supply between the fuel tank and the Engine. All the data is collected by the speed sensor which is needed to be installed on the Gearbox.
Cable Type It is a cable based device in which the electronic unit of the vehicle converts the actual driving speed of the vehicle with the preset speed. The calculation of the speed is done with the help of the hall-effect sensors which process the signals of the speed. The electronic unit commands the motor actuator to control the movement of the fuel lever on the injection pump which helps in restricting the fuel supply to the engine.
